The Sonoma County library provides access to archives of the Press Democrat, Argus-Courier and other local papers on Newspapers.com. Many additional papers are available with a direct subscription to the service.

The Sonoma Index-Tribune is also searchable (although few results will be found due to the poor quality of the text scans) and articles can be purchased individually. It is also sometimes useful to search the Napa county newspapers.
